Unwilling Numismatist Posted Thursday at 07:00 PM Posted Thursday at 07:00 PM I've had this rolling around the bottom of a box for ... a few years. I was today old when I realised it might not be completely crap. Thoughts please! Quote
Unwilling Numismatist Posted Thursday at 09:41 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:41 PM Update - Denver Mint type 1, lovely and lustrous. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure it'll find a new home on Ebay soon. Being a Denver mint, it should be copper cored clad. I don't see any evidence of the copper line I see referenced, but Silver / Silver clad should be mintmark S from what I've read. I could be wrong. Only another couple of thousand coins to look through! Quote

AHA! only a couple of thousand coins to look through ? me to...Ive spent a year of sorting through 30+ years of boot fair and flea market finds, amongst my hoard there's been some surprising finds that I completely forgot about. there's a few silver Dollars amongst others I'm going to have to dig out a Buffalo coin...It has a mint flaw...I think, I have kept the silver ones that aren't to worn as I'm not in no rush to move these on until retirement 👍 Quote
