I found a coin and not sure if it's real? The coin is about the size of a canadian dollar, has a pic of george VI & queen elizabeth on one side ( crowned 1937 on the bottom) The other side is a pic of a city w person & sheild holding a plant of some sort. It says long may the reign. The coin is very light and does'nt feel real, makes me think it was designed to celebrate a wedding or something.

What i think you've got there is a coronation commemorative piece. George VI succeeded to the throne in December 1936 and was crowned the following year.

I can't tell you more than that i'm afriad. Although someone else may know more.
