sabrejv Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Just a heads up several new Gazette notices mentioning possible Royal Mint issues have been posted on the Gazette website. I search for 'coin' related notices using the term 'coinage act' https://www.thegazette.co.uk/all-notices/London/notice?sort-by=latest-date&text=coinage+act One notice mentions the 50p brexit coin now dated 31 October 2019. The 29 March ones probably have been melted down! And there is another 50p that is somewhat 'cheesy' with an inscription of “CASEUS PRAESTANS” and “WALLACE GROMIT" Finally other notices note 100 anniversary of the first published Agatha Christie's detective novel and also 75 years anniversary/commemoration of VE day, these will be £2 coins.
