seuk Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Like to know what you all think of this one? - I'm not familiar with the series and the condition is rather poor. However the details (especially for the obverse) looks incorrect. Weight is 7.9 gr so it's 1.4 gr under official weight which seems too light even for a low grade example. Quote
Stuntman Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Here's my 1826, if it helps with the comparison: Edited December 11, 2017 by Stuntman Quote
seuk Posted December 11, 2017 Author Posted December 11, 2017 Thanks! - much better than the photos I googled. The details are definitely different; fx the letters are more square on my coin. Would be nice to find a better copy though. Quote
Stuntman Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 No worries, glad to help! It's not a bad counterfeit IMO, pretty close to the actual design even if it's not the same weight. Quote
