mint_mark Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Thanks for posting the list Chris! You might as well stick it on the website now between British Colonial and Roman I think a lot of those German States coins count as pre-decimal too!!I will check through the list to see if there are any types I need... I love collecting Germany... so much variety in last couple of centuries. And with all those mint letters, several of each date to collect!! Quote
Unknown Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 How did I miss this? I just saw in another part of the forum the link to this list... now I have to compare the list with what I already have at home!ARG! I need more money! I need more money so I can buy more coins!!!!(Hopefully, without my wife realising that I spent the real money in worthless coins... in her opinion that is...) Quote
Berg Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 If you dont mind Chris I would very much appriceate a list of examples of coins from roughly 1888-1890 and onward to, but not including the Weimar Republic. No really high graded needed, just curios wether it might be cheaper to buy these kind of coins directly from you (germany) then deling with swedish coin dealers. As above might show Im targetting Willy the last Emperor inclusive the colonial and wartime coinage. On another note, I will have to go the bank office personally inorder to pay for your book, so the payment should arrive 2-3 days after wendsday.Hmmm unless one can use Mastercard!? Quote
Chris Perkins Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 Yes, of course you can use a credit card. Go here:http://www.predecimal.com/secure/paymentcustom.htmIt links to Worldpay for the sensitive bits. Quote

Either its me and numbers or me and computers.... I got a card connected to Visa but it said it couldnt do the transfer... anyway tomorrow is Wendsday, then ill ask the bank clerk to make the transfer aswell as set it up for me so that i may do future transfers by myself (hopefully). Chris Perkins Posted March 15, 2005 Author Posted March 15, 2005 Ok, berg, well let me know how you get on. We'll find a way. Quote
Berg Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Ok, berg, well let me know how you get on. We'll find a way. One good news and one bad! This morning I manage to find out how to do a transfer ( reffered to as "Foreign payment") to your account from mine! Merely the transfer (not the cost for the book included) would cost me approx. £11.50 Thus now as I see it I got two optiones, either send you Euro in a ordinary mail, or try to do a so called "EU-transfer" in such a case I would need your banks Bank Identifer Code (BIC) aswell as your accounts IBAN code which my Bank says merely your Bank can render, probably on their web-site. Anyway perhaps we can continue the discussion via e-mail. Quote

Breg, if you open a personal paypal account and Crish opens a personal paypal account too. Then you have to get a bank account register with paypal and pay him with Direct Bank transfer only. That way the payment is made for free and he doesn't need to pay comission. But the person receiving the payment must have a personal account. Quote
Berg Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Paypal you say? I´ll check it out sounds similar to the swedish Payson service. Quote
