This 'coin' is 1/14 inches (30mm) dia. Dark metal (copper ?), Quite ornate. Rev. Outer band 1837-97

TO COMMEMORATE THE 60th YEAR OF HER MAJESTYS REIGN. Inner has branches/flowers/leaves at the

bottom, three fanned shields above them, crown (with sun rays) above them, then THE DIAMOND JUBILEE

above that. Obv. has 1897 at bottom - outer band has FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE (crown with sun rays)

Edward VII and Victoria veiled bust. Under Victoria's head is printed COPYRIGHT !!

Any ideas what to call this ? Thanks.

2nd query.

This is a medal struck to commemorate Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee in 1897. It's one of a number which show the Queen annd her heirs in the next three generations. The small boy of 3 is not George VI but Edward VIII. They're fairly common; the most attractice one of this type I've come across was issued by Spink.
