  1. You were right. The dot after 1919 date came of when I scratched it with finger nail. Caused by corrosion.Thanks.
  2. Yes, a detecting find. The other 'raised dots' must be from a bad die (?).. and the dot after date mark a worn die??. I can see more of these 'dots' in reverse. The front side is in better condition (see picture).
  3. I have British 1919 penny with dot after date. I did some research and failed to find any other examples.
