  1. thank you for that,i apreciate it. trying to find out about coins is harder then i thought haha. is there any value to this coin? i will try and upload much better pictures later on. thanks Its worth more than 20p, however I can't really tell you how much more because I'm not really sure what the market would be over there. If it was, say, a dime with those errors in the US it would run in the $3-5 range. okdoky. i have to find some info on value but cheerss .

  4. yah thanks for the advise and believe i aint into chemicals so im not the one to do this. dont kow bout the whole acid thing on this one. but apreciate the comments cheers
  5. if in acid i would have imagined the whole coin to be affected not just a liitle bit as shown. as acid makes a mess of anything
  6. Modern "bronze" is just copper-plated steel. You have one where the copper plating has not taken, yes. Interesting curio, so hang on to it if you like it. (Don't make retirement plans though ) nice 1 but a shame i cant retire yet hahaha. thank you for the info. any chance you would know the value of this coin?
  7. hi all im new to all this, but i have a coin in my change with what i believe is a copper plating error. i havent realy got a clue but been trying to research with no joy. this is a 2001 1penny uk, magnetic as i tested it, with slight multy tone aswell as some of the balls are flat underneath the number1. maybe a misprint any help is more then none and i would very much appreciate it. cheers
