  2. I'm sorry but no, I don't have any other pictures, unfortunately I cant even make any new, coin is now in local museum due to fact that English hammered coins are quite unusual finds in Poland they were very happy adding that one to the collection.
  3. Hello to All, here is my last metal detecting find from Poland, tell me if I'm wrong, is it Henry VII penny, Durham mint?. Cant find any example on the internet with the second letter "I" below the shield, first one is on 100% "D", but the second looks like "I" or "T". Thanks for any help.

  5. Thanks Peter for reply, is any chance to get more information about this coin?, I tried to find more information on the Internet, but it seems that the Irish coins from this period are rare,I found just a few examples, but none matches this one.
  6. Thanks Peckris for help, I'm sure on 100% it isn't a Polish coin, look almost like early English hammered coins, maybe it just a fake? Anyway once again thanks for help.

  8. I know nothing about Irish coins I'm afraid. But you do have one non-Irish coin there, the William III. Unfortunately, you don't say what denomination it is. That design was used in common from the crown all the way down to the sixpence. What's its size? It is Crown

Hi Rob These coins from the picture are exactly the same coins what I want to buy, they are on sale on one of Polish numismatic websites, just as a beginner I'm not sure about the prizes, I know that they selling other coins: Polish, German etc for the prizes far too high. My idea was to buy them and sell on eBay to earn some extra cash before Christmas I split post on two parts, sorry for that my mistake.

  21. Yes I can agree but only when coin is VF not when edge of the coin is so badly damaged...under any grade ( this just my point of view )
  22. About that Russian coin: it is 5 Kopecks, Catherine II (1762-1796), value something around 2£, anyway I think it is worth to keep in collection, not to many European coin with such low face value is so heavy- around 52g
