I collect British gold coins and I have a large amount of mixed coins, mainly British, collected (put in a Gladstone bag) by my maternal grandfather and carefully annotated and enlarged by my father. I sold a number of the coins through ebay, but did not like the large charges. I would like to offer a larger range of coins to collectors through my website.<br />My ambition is to form a coin collectors club whose members would sell their spare coins through my website. I intend to give the website top page exposure by using Google Adwords. Please contact me if you want more information.

  1. Have a look at my website, http://www. ricksilver.biz. I am selling a collection of mainly British coins. The website is very nearly complete with only educational year sets and medals missing. I have just added my late father's collection of banknotes, mainly British but with some foreign ones given to him by friends and family. As this is mainly a coin forum, can anyone advise where I should go to sell my very good examples of British error notes?
  2. Hi Chris, still got mine I assume you aren't interested. I investigated registry cleaners before choosing CCleaner when my laptop started crashing. All the reviews said it was one of the best, and I've certainly had no problems with using it daily. Similarly with my webhost who replied immediately to my query and advised users to first clear their website caches, or access the site through a proxy website such as anonymouse.org. How's that for good service? If you want to try it for nothing, sign up from my website and give me a break!
  3. Hi Geordie582, Thanks for the nice comment on my site. I have asked my webhost for an answer to your problems and would personally recommend you use CCleaner to clean up your computer registry. This is an excellent free service and comes with full support. I have found it did what it says on the box and speeded up my slow slow laptop. Hope this helps. As regards my club idea, if you have any spare coins, perhaps you will consider using my club-site idea to advertise them? My intention is to use adwords funded by selling spaces on the website's landing page to get top Google rating.
  4. Sorry Geordie582, It must be you! I'm glad that another has confirmed I am definitely NOT a spammer. Please ensure you have used the COMPLETE ADDRESS, i.e. http://www.ricksilver.biz. I have slipped myself up in the past by backspacing the existing address and adding just the www. part, only to be shut out with an error message like yours. On looking at the address again, I found the previous address started with https://. Better luck next time, Rick.
  5. Hi, Geordie582, I have just tried http://www.ricksilver.biz and it works for me. Please try again and thanks for looking. Rick
  6. Have a look at my website, www. ricksilver.biz. I am selling a collection of mainly British coins. The website is very nearly complete with only British year sets and foreign coins missing. I'd like to fill the year gaps so that collectors will have a comprehensive choice. To do this I would like to start a club with members offering their coins for sale through my website. The details aren't worked out yet, but send me an email if you're interested. I am starting a collection of British gold coins, and will accept these as payment.
