Hi to everyone, I'm new to this forum. I wondered if anyone could give me an idea of a coin's value? When I was a youngster I found a George III sixpence, in quite good condition considering it had been burried in the ground for some number of years. The unusual thing about this coin is the date, it should read 1817, but reads 1 17! the numeral is not worn, and shows no sign of being removed in any way.
