Sorry having trouble uploading photos and original post seems to have disappeared. I purchased this coin from the USA and the alignment is up/up instead of up/down. Also the weight is slightly off at 5.4 grams instead of 5.6grams. However under magnification I cannot see any difference between this and other shillings in my collection. The coin is not very valuable so if it is a good quality fake why bother and why make such a basic error as to get the alignment wrong. Any thoughts would be welcome.
