If you can try and pay by paypal. I got ripped of for £254 for one coin and paypal after investigations refunded my money. A couple of weeks ago paid for a £92 for a coin and which never came and good old paypal refunded again. You need to supply them with emails etc, but they have't argued so far when I have been ripped off

yep I agree and that is what I am doing...just wondered what this tarnish was as none of my other gold proof coins have it. I didn't think gold did tone! I have some very early victorian sovereigns which are in better condition. I was thinking along the lines was this a fake coin and the base metal was responsible for the tarnish
Need some advice on a 1988 proof sovereign. I paid £100..spinks say £175. The problem I have which I have not come across before with any of my other proof gold coins is there is some sort of tarnish on the coin. There is also a small amount of a fingerprint on the surface right of the horse head, but this does not show in the picture. Does anyone have any idea what this tarnish is? Regards
Don't know why, but I have started collecting the threepence coin. The ones form QE2 I have been buying seem very shiny....I suppose like brand new. I have looked at them in detail and cannot see any wear on raised surfaces or scratch marks which would indicate being cleaned. What is the difference between being shiny and lustre...or have these coins been cleaned somehow?
The low lives, friends to the toilet maggot!! They took my money and run...no software...no money and no reply when I have emailed them. Things must be bad if they have to STEAL $5.00. Why don't the uk market have its own software???
I have the following coin sets 1948, 53,54,62,63,64,65,66 and 67 in those plastic cases. What I would like to know is can I buy new cases? When did these coin sets start and end. Thanks
I have for a long time collected silver bullion bars and coins with some gold coins thrown in. I have been doing this for a rainy day in the not to distant future (sadly)....retirement!! Through my dealings in this area I kept coming across Americans buying old silver coins, which they could get cheaper than new bullion silver. This got me to thinking about british silver coins and what is their silver content? Please could someone elighten me to the silver content of silver coins. I suppose one thing which as developed from research around British coins is I feel the collecting bug biting. I have already started to get a basic collection togther. Regards Gary
Hi Guys Nice site you have. I have tried to download the software several times and their end is very slow. I do have broadband!! I contacted them by email and within minutes they replied and have posted me the cd for $5 which they say will be refunded if I buy the software. I have to say they responded twicw to my emails very quickly. This was the email they repsonded on, PDD@libertystreet.com So you perhaps try that for contacting them
