I,ve aquired this 1696 Bristol mint William III Sixpence with a small x in REX. Beautiful tone on one side but absolutely none on the reverse.

It has certainly not got the sharpness to the lettering and the eye looks wrong too. All in all it looks rather flat compared to the coin on the left.
I,ve bought from this guy in the past and never had any problems. But I would pass on this coin.

I have these two Thalers. One is different from the other. Would one of them be an early strike or is it because they were perhaps made in two different mints?

Yes bud it was in beside some detecting finds i bought. I just thought it would be silver all the way through. It looks like the silvering has come off in a thin layer.
