    Help Please!

It is same as other forum, while other are ahead they have an image gallery like the omnicoin or cionpeople all they have to do is compile them to one folder and published it in the web. both an exposure for thier forum and records of coin of thier member. Guest just imagining things, all coins will be on one website,NGC may all the preserva picture didnt published it or ebay. Goodluck hussulo, Im with you,Just want to see all coins and denomination it is near to imposibble the space it will take will be huge, even browsing it will occupy space in normal computer.especially in high quality picture or scan. Thank you for the time and effort, hope for the best, the link is good idea.will see maybe in due time you can post all coins by the help of expert. Just dont allow others to download picture especially the rare one, they might use it for something else. It is all up to you now.
  4. How about rare coin of britain or compilation of extremely rare. If others motivate by something others will be motivated by rarity and price.

    Help Please!

Well another forum, well you are the one who is building the new site, but the coins and image will be contribute by members and other good guest in this forum. One of the problem encountered in image gallery or other forum is time, effort and space for taking picture and putting them on the site. Thats why the whole collection of coin will not be place in one album or one site, coz every one has one or another already in thier own album, but seeing the whole collection for every year both obverse and reverse the variety and mint set, proof set. will take a lot lot of space and effort, that a single collector will have a hard time. Completing every coin in every year is more or less the compilation of images most books and web site that was published, all the forum moderator can do is to ask permission to member to copy or put them into e a web page and published it in the web. There will be a hole especially the rare coins even downloading pictures yuo have to ask first, since many expert colector replied it will be not that hard. Even in some other site you have to be a member to see the gallery,I thought your site will be an extension of this forum to store all britain coins from time in memorial till present ,that sometimes chris have to delete something for space. Guess seeing all coins in good condition will take time, for putting one in web cost.

    Slabbing in Europe

Thank you guest it is in the making,Good thing to here there are many slabbing comp. base in US and one in canada if my memory is right. It is better that GB goes first before any country in europe and the tax that the govt. will earn will help a lot in expense of collector but bring some good for the country and its people. Hope that other expert will join in for better result.

    Slabbing in Europe

Maybe good timing, there is a info that james taylor left anacs not sure Well even if you dont work fulltime in slabbing company others can be a part of it especially identifying errors and variety, just read article in the past that they have special previelage for those persons. Those that will against it will be a watchdog while the comp. make profit also the govt. taxing all expensive slab coins, just learn one term in other site SEINOIRAGE. If the company still dont exist its all drawing and planning for me,since most european are brotherhood of collector guest it will not affect them that much.

  11. Here is the picture, I did measure using a ruler the result of the diameter is 23 and 24 mm average of 23.5 that is the best I can do.
  12. She should for crying out loud, think about it, her image is on more coins than any other person in history. Longest living monarch in UK,why her face is in every denomination of the coin she is still alive other countries put images of loss leaders in thier coin what is the story in it.
  13. Nice picture and info rob on uncirculated and proof coin,Thanks,
  14. I didnt now that, Thank you for the info,Hope that he will have the same faith like others in the past, there was a sumpre court ruling on economic sabotor slipping coins out of the country.
  15. It is like looking on image coin gallery even you cannot have all the coin because of budget you can have one even in pictures, especially when the picture is authentic.
  16. I think the value of 2 pence and 1 penny exceed it value and worth melting down like the case of 1906 peso US-PHIL. coin,They nab a man trying to slip a bulk of 1906 peso because the silver content is much more than its face value,.so the goverment UK issued a noticed,It is alarming.

    what premium means?

    Thank you rob.
  18. josie

    what premium means?

If an expert coin collector or a dealer told a novice that your coin is not worth a premium, what premium in uk pounds or USA dollars, is premium is same as a major purchase in coin collecting? if they say major purchase it means you know what you are buying for its worth? what are the guide if you are buying major piece or coin.
  19. josie

    what premium means?

So Rob the premium is only available in the people who follow the market regulary, there is no average or base line in all coin denomination and condition cannot really convert it into USA dollar, for more info example of the series of coin in GB on penny 1902 up in world coin catalog says original coin in mint and lustre command a premium but the value of uncirculated almost reach 500 dollars. SORRY double check almost reach 100 dollars in uncirculated in normal struck in raw coin.
  20. Thank you scottishmoney, those things you mentioned they are new to me, inflation gone high since several years ago but the value of a pence is worth more than they are and making one is expensive Im having a hard time understabding the value of cent, since you mentioned that you cannot buy anything else on a cents or a pence they are worthless, some brand them as worthless coin, since the sum of cents and pence is still large sum of money pulling them out will have a big effect on common people as Chris mentioned that 5 pence should be a lowest denomination as I understand UK is one of the highest cost of living how much more the effect of that in prices and way of living.more likely the figure who is in the lowest denomination will be also the things in the past as I observe in some countries.
  21. Why is that there is a rumor or news that copper plated cents will be change or pull out in circulation, In the past ,there is a rumor that 1 & 2 cents in euro will be pull out because most of them will be place in the jug or bottle and not used in circulation, adding all that is minted it is a large sum of money not being used in circulation,There is also an article that US one cent will be also pull out in circulation, and now I saw a page that UK 2 pence and 1 penny will be change for thier face value or making one is more than a face value of the coin, Is this mean infation,If they will be pull out in circulation or change thier metal content this mean that acquiring copper or mining one is expensive or thier is a shortage of metal for coin,or making a coin now is not thier face value, considering that those 3 lowest denomination of the coin is use in circulation in develope or first world countries.
  22. Thank you scottishmoney, meaning to say if a denomination is pull out from the circulation they will going to be melted, what they will going to do with the metal they melted?is the denomination or a coin will be change to other metal or it will be permanntly out in circulation like the lincoln cent it bare the name of one prominient figure in USA,or his image will pass to the next higher coin or denomination? does lincoln start at the beginning in 1 cent or he is placed in much more higher denomination in the past,Ive noticed that a prominient figure of one country is place on its first or lowest denomination, what will happen if they remove the coin fron circulation.
  23. Plus and minus the ration of our population today which is 6 to 8 billion and thier staple food what if 14c britain or worst things happen today in global scale, lucky enough europe is rich.
  24. As Geordie mentioned the cost of war, this is one of the past event that took place in the past that affected the lives of men then soon affected thier living, as for the things get unstable in every misfortune not sure whether they will be one in the future, for europe including britain suffer severe strike of misfortune from war, famine and plaque for its population is one of the smallest in the world, for now they are one of the richiest continent, For me this topic is very interesting because it does not only cover the value of troy ounce of silver or gold in that time for it is very handy to have one, or how much money the goverment have, it goes upto the stalple food that may not become stable in time of troubles,it goes more on what are the situation of britain in 14c and at present and where it is going, what are thier priorities in life as for all the cases maybe it is always a barometer of staple food the end product of commodity for someone to survive as I said ONE DINAR CAUSE A ONE DAY WORK for in the forum mentioned 1/d to 1d for the bad and the best example of bread how much more for 2d a day wage of infantry man, it didnt happen in your history but it is more handy if you have silver for a loaf of bread,a loaf or 2 loaves of bread will not go far for a family in one day.
