1875H Penny. Anyone have any thoughts?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

This 1875H is available, it's a big potential purchase for me given the value of my collection, but I know they are tough to find in good condition. Spink and other sources seem to have a huge gap between VF and EF values on these.

It's up at £295.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

A solid VF for me, but no better, so perhaps the price is just a bit higher than I would want to pay, but not outrageous...

I thought it was a bit high, may see if I can get a bit of flex from them.

Thanks

The patchy tone is deff not a plus could wipe £50 off the price easy

I'd say GVF at least, but as said, the tone is offputting. I'm not sure I'd want it in my collection, even if the price was right.
