  1. Hi, I just received this curious piece in a lot of cut pennies I bought. I think I can make out the legend SH ON W on the first side. But this could also be LSH ON W. I am not entirely sure. Couldn't find any moneyer + mint combination in my literature that matched this so was wondering if anyone could give me a hand? I am hoping to narrow down this one as much as I can. Thanks for your help.
  2. Sifting through my bits and bobs and came across this one. Not listed in any books that i can find so one to mark down. Maybe a complete example will turn up one day who knows. Its a 1a4 obverse with the Seriffed X and a 1a3 reverse with a nice square E. Hvnfrei at York mint.
  3. Hi folks, found this yesterday near my home in Scotland, unsure of the style and origin of it but I believe it to be a jetton. Any care to put some light on its particulars? Many thanks,
  4. Here is a silver plated short cross penny for ID. Found on an old medieval market site in Suffolk. Max diameter 18.67mm 0.9g
