Tried on desktop pc at work and laptop at home. Ads are there filling the screen. Doesn't make any difference using chrome or IE, logged in or out, same thing.
If I were a newbie looking for a forum to join I would be clicking away looking elsewhere.
Not good and needs sorting quickly as others have said.
Btw using my mobile (android) it's fine no ads at all but a pain in the a*** typing a longish post like this.

Wonder why he has closed the group as it was private anyway ?.
Hopefully someone will know why Bill took the decision close it

It appears that Bill has closed the group and all previous posts have been removed.
Shame really as there was a lot of information on there about the cgs saga.

Having seen yours Richard on your site I wasn't sure if mine were given how much was missing on yours. When I saw Terry's looked very similar to mine I realised what I had.

The 67 I found is a little better grade than the 66 but still not as good as your 66
Still better than not having one I suppose

In the boiling hot July of 2006 - 10 years ago - I actually smashed the window of a car .......... Anyway, I reached inside and opened the door, the poor dog whimpered his way out...........
Good on you and pleased to hear no come back on you for saving the poor dog who may well have died if left alone.
During this hot spell it's been early mornings and late evening walks for my pair.

Hi just spotted these on ebay and want some advice ASAP as it ends in 3 hours what price would be a good offer on these or should I leave alone.
Regards Mick
Wow you are certainly on a mission. Can't comment on grade or value sorry but if it was me spending that sort of money I would want to see them before parting with my money.
Note that seller says returns not accepted
Just my opinion but your call at the end of the day

Can't comment on "silver" as I don't collect it myself but it does look good.
That said I do have a 1951 boxed crown if you are interested would sell for £10 if you are interested

Looks good for the price

My collection of £2 coins is ruined as far as coin collectors go as 99% of them have been cleaned just like my £1 coins and I now wish I had left them even though they found look nice.

Don't beat yourself up over things. We all live and learn.
I have a few spare £2 and 50p's (from circulation) you are welcome to them if you want them for face value.
Drop me a message if you want any.

Maybe worth leaving ebay alone and buying off a reputable dealer you can trust.
Sound advice should you wish to carry on collecting.
Listen to the more experienced on this forum and you won't go far wrong.
