  1. On four visits now I've stood inside St Mark's in Venice and, every time, have been overwhelmed by the beauty of my surroundings.

Old places of worship: y'can't beat 'em.

Should anyone on here find themselves in the vicinity I recommend Liverpool's Anglican cathedral. Even us Irish Catholics have to admit the building is astonishingly beautiful. 70 years to build, and every stone carved by hand.

    Bargain!

Particularly as the reason for relisting being the final bid of £720 realised last time was considered too low.

Why not tell her you've reconsidered your offer and go lower? In the absence of shill bids it'd be fun to know just how far down she'd  go.

And so the silly bids (or non-bids, or more likely shill bids) start to roll in...

Looking at the bids and feedback scores of the bidders, clearly some are the same as last time, including a suspicious "private" bidder.

    Smells decidedly of fish, methinks...

£590 and counting. 34 bids from 5 bidders.

Found so many 1933 penny in a year, she must be a millionaire now🤣

You're absolutely right Bruce, we've been following her exploits here for a while now.

Three years and three 1933 pennies, each with a background story as unbelievable and entertaining as the free form word jazz syntax of her listings.

Then, of course, there was the Gothic crown....

I see she was not willing to shell out for a wreath crown to make up the 1933 set then?

See too how all coins other than the penny are in oddments box condition so would have seen quite a few years in circulation before the deceased thought to squirrel then away inside the clock.

Someone could be about to be badly burned. I think we should send her a PM saying she should end the listing or else.

Eight grand and 62 bids now but accounted for by two bidders only.

What's the betting it's a wind up merchant (hurrah!) and a repeated shill response?

On each listing these statements can be found further down the page.

'Our supplier', singular, would seem at odds with the wording of those certificates of provenance.

WE TAKE EVERY CARE TO ENSURE THAT THE DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATIONS ON OUR ITEMS ARE CORRECT. HOWEVER SPECIFICATIONS AND DESCRIPTIONS OF ITEMS ON ARE LISTINGS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE BINDING AND ARE INTENDED ONLY TO GIVE A GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM/S LISTED.

ALL OF OUR COINS & ARTEFACTS ARE DESCRIBED IN THE WAY THAT WE PURCHASE THEM FROM OUR SUPPLIER.

IF WE HAVE NOT INCLUDED THE DATING OF AN ITEM IN THE TITLE OR DESCRIPTION IT IS BECAUSE WE CANT SAY FOR CERTAIN THE DATING OF THE ITEM. IT IS PREFERABLE NOT TO PROVIDE DATING ON MANY OCCASIONS AS TO NOT MISLEAD THE CUSTOMER.
