Some of those coppers, bronzes, wreath crowns, and golds would surely fool a novice.
And having had a quick look at the feedback I see people are snapping them up.

Selling honestly described is all well and good, but how soon before unscrupulous buyers re-list these?

If genuine the 1921 Australian florin is quite valuable. The George III is a contemporary counterfeit. The George IV has a silver bullion value only.

It is comforting to know I'm not the only one who finds this table unclear. To me it reads 338,160 farthings struck dated 1679, and I had always understood it was the least common of the '72-'79 series.

Yes, thinner.
Same size/weight flans as the rest but squashed out to a slightly broader diameter.

Hi Dave,
I remember having a conversation with Rob about this on here a little while ago. I have a 1718 which, at 28mm, is also larger than my other dump halfpennies. Apparently, as these were struck without the use of a collar a diameter range of 25-28mm is perfectly normal.
I've just now measured my 1717 copper proof too, that has a diameter of 26mm.

Does anyone here know why so many people have it in their minds 1971 decimals are valuable? I find this baffling.

I visited last night for the first time in ages. Early Milled has become a shop front for sellers of replica coins as too, along with people hoping to make a small profit on bullion sovereigns, has Victorian. This on top of all the usual washers and damaged tat, very depressing. Look at these:

How's life treating you up in Cumbria? I know, like me, you're originally from Liverpool, but I don't know which area. Amazing at it seems (to me at least) while we were there today, for the first time in our lives, my wife and I visited Crosby. Nice beach and I was very taken with the Gormleys which are quite an impressive statement in the landscape. I had no idea there were so many of the buggers. 100!
