According to Peck barred A's never occur on 1701 halfpence.
He did miss a few things freeman 530 for example and many pennies are missing he also admitted he was keener on the soho period and william iii halfpence were not his favorites

I have thin planchet struck pennies, threepence, shillings, and I think halfpennies - all this much more common in the late '50s to '60s. So legit specimens do exist and probably not all that valuable but interesting none-the-less.
If they are listed on ebay they can fetch £40 to £200 which is not a lot even for a pos . unique coin
Your best tip is to list it with a minimum bid and hope some variety collector sees it it could sell the day you put it on or it might take six months , best case scenario is two collectors take a shine to it.

I'm pretty sure they were struck more often than on a weekly basis....
It does exist. I know my 17th century copper well enough to confirm the letter is an I, and which is even more obvious 'in hand'.
I see people listing 1700 and 1701 on ebay, stating their coins to be the rare unbarred As variety. Unbarred is the norm. As with bars are the ones to look out for.
Everyone likes a nice bar LOL

These coins are a nightmare often weekly struck and with other things wrong with them they make a wonderful life's work for anyone sorry but we need a higher grade coin to confirm it but it probably does not exist , interesting and frustrating at the same time
P > S looks like unbarred A's on reverse as well

The royal mint produced many coins for other countries could it be a foreign flan that mistakenly got fed into a domestic brass threepence batch - there is a similar sized coin of canada I think or it could be from many other african countries as well more likely commonwealth countries than not

Isn't it nice that we have someone on here with some nice inherited coins lol

I remain a nonbeliever till the royal mint sez they have been sent a real silver one to authenticate.

Must be honest I never really liked ozzy and was pleased when he deserted the uk for his endless USA tours , I feel much more sorry for poor old Phil collins who now is in a really bad way, a typical englishman who never upset anyone and entertained everyone
While everyone likes a bit of "crazy", Phil made a career out of being the good guy and was a consummate musician Ozzy admitted himself he was very sorry for the baggage he left behind , Philips wives or some of them at least have been blood sucking vampires maybe they should have been Ozzy's exes if the truth be told.

The manchester evening news pointed to residents and tried to point to them running blindly into a living hell provided by oasis fans ie weeing in front gardens and using front gardens as an open sewer.
I might have known reality was a lot better , I have always found prestwich and the nearby whitefield where i lived for many years quiet and happy places , my grandparents also loved prestwich after living on carisbrooke avenue for over 30 years .Nice to know this was all paper talk

To expand - a few beers, a packet of cigars and a garden chair to recline in. Happy days. The lyrics and music were crystal clear. Saved myself a few hundred quid there. Just need more beers for tomorrow's concert.
Anyone take a sh!t on your front lawn going home ?
