Can i just add, cleaning coins or anything is definately a NO NO.
Yep I agree 100% with that, but do remember I did not clean it as I mentioned in my first enquiry. Anyway an update on my piece after all this research, would you believe it I saw one today on Ebay in a VF condition with a good description and weight, all the same features as mine. Well that is that solved but have thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks to all who have replied to my request, now to start on my next piece.
Cheers all

Thanks for your replies, since Peter mentioned medals/tokens I have found two sites showing large versions of this piece. But still there are many variations on my piece to theirs, just to raise one point on obverse, queen Anne has pearls in hair and on shoulder, mine has no pearls in hair and a 4 pointed (ribbon?) on her shoulder. Also note the border on my obverse has a worn toothed edge similar to a coin where as the medals show a flat rim. Still it has so many variations I must keep researching, any more input from members will be gladly welcomed.

I can confirm it is not a Queen Anne coin.Probably a medlet. The obverse looks fairly poor whilst the reverse has much more effort put into it.
Good luck in your research...There are a couple of specialist token dealers who may help.
Thanks for your reply Peter, I don't think the obverse picture was that good so I have downloaded one more. This piece was stuck reverse up into a silver & wooden seal of some type, the person I bought it off had said, he had prised it out and cleaned it
Still whatever it is I do like it so no bad news to me anyway,
Thanks again

Hi to all,
I have a silver Queen Anne piece/coin which I have been researching for some time now without success, I am unable to find it in any of my books or even on the internet. Would like to know anyone's thoughts on this piece, it measures 24 to 25mm across but I am unable to weight it at present due to scales broke yesterday (typical). I also will mention that I did not clean this piece before I receive any abuse, have attached two photo's which I hope will be clear enough for you, sorry about flash spots. The date for this piece is 1707 but written as MDCCVII just where flash has spoilt picture, look forward to your replies
Regards
Steve
Hello Steve,
There aren't any pictures attached.
John.
Hi John,
Will try again, I did attach pictures
Maybe the pics were to big and didn't actually attach, you have a max of 150kb of upload
Finally managed to sort out picture problem, not a computer whizz kid as you could guess
Also managed to weigh this piece I believe it is 4 grams, won't swear to this due to scales (repaired) playing up I think
