  1. Red Rocket

Coin and Bank Note collectors software

We've just released version 1.1 which contains a wealth of improvements including several extra fields for coins, user-variable fields, a wanted list feature and many other tweaks, If you try it we would love to hear your feedback and any constructive criticism, as it's completely free we rely on word of mouth. If you get SmartScreen filter message upon installation, just click 'more info' and continue, this is due to an unrecognized certificate, as I don't make any money from this I can't afford to pay the fees to have an official code signed certificate, the application is still code signed by myself though and time stamped by COMODO. Thank you again.
  2. Greetings everyone! Me and my friend have come together and created a free application for numismatists, he helped design it (he's a long time collector of coins and bank notes) and I developed it, it only went live yesterday after 3 months of development and we're trying to get the word around, we've already had some positive feedback from a couple of facebook groups and felt it could benefit others here also. we're just two friends, trying to make something useful for the community, it's completely free and always will be as it's a hobby and not a business! though we do encourage positive criticism and new ideas so we can continue to improve what we've already made. the main drive behind this was that I've promised to make him something a bit more useful than an excel spreadsheet for a while but I've never got around to it, but we've finally done it and it's out there for the world to use, we didn't like the fact that all the other applications out there cost money, we both believe that something decent and free could benefit many. If you decide to give it a try, we would really appreciate feedback, constructive criticism and any new ideas as this is something we see as an ongoing project, to improve over time. you can find the download at my website in the download area, you will be required to register but that only takes 2 seconds to prevent spam bots and leeches using up my bandwidth. http://www.redrocketsoftwaresolutions.co.uk One of the features of Numismatist Catalogue is that it can create a nice looking web page displaying your collections, you can see a working example of this at my friends website. http://www.abnotes.co.uk/Numismatist%20Catalogue/www/1Pound.html & http://www.abnotes.co.uk/Numismatist%20Catalogue/www/50pence.html if you like it, please share it with other people you know may find it useful. Thank you for your time and please feel free to ask me any questions. Matt.
