Chinese / Asian unknown coin, any ideas?

Recommended Posts

Hi! This is my first post on here, wondering if anyone recognises this or could point me in right direction with age or origin? I have had many similar before but the symbols are different on this and the metal seems more like tin than the usual copper or bronze.

Thanks in advance - Mike

Board of Public Works marks make it Ch'ing dynasty, however the 4 characters don't match anything that should be there, so perhaps a charm.
