Certainly not a HAMMERED coin! Looks to be an ugly seamed edge copy!

Allegedly bent by the plough. That'll be the Plough's landlord then............

Colin Cooke had a reasonable quantity of Cnut pennies in the 90s, perhaps from a hoard. I didn't buy one at the time, and wish I had.

I can't remember the price. I can't even remember if they were good value. I just wish I'd got one. :(

Regrettably, I had a VF, but with a quarter segment missing, Cnut helmet penny. Regrettable because I sold that whole collection to buy my first computer! The coin cost £12 as I recall! That would be early '80s

Something that is currently priced less than book based on the description given? They want to believe.

Hey-ho, only just over 2 days before this bloke in red comes here with lots of bargains. :)

Now £200 I must be missing something but it is a very crude copy to me!

You're only missing the naivity of eBay buyers.

I reported it as a copy 6 days ago. Needless to say, nothing was done.
