hi i have acquired a coin recentley, can anyone tell me anything about it, i think its a half crown its 32 /33 mm in diameter, sliver ,1887 young queen victoria head, but on the reverse side its blank, iv tried to attach a couple of pictures but unable to sorry

Some sort of private medallion. The bust is all wrong for a coin.

This one is brass about 30mm - probably similar intended use to yours - possibly as a badge or for application to a tourist souvenir

It's obviously based on the William Wyon YH obverse, but the 'designer' initials are M.BP not WW. It's not badly done, somewhat closer than david's Gothic example! but still no cigar.

Looks a bit like the obverse from the Indian Rupees as well.... IMO quite unpleasant...
