Some scarce pennies in the next LCA :)

Indeed there are, Pete. Some real beauties for the specialist there. One or two have "come to Daddy" written all over them ;)

Most of those scarcities have only just been added. They definitely weren't there a few days ago.

Thought you had a career in IT Richard; the first thing an IT help desk always advises is "try re-booting your PC":D

Interestingly, the picture is now not viewable again but if I right click on the icon (labelled 1038091.jpeg) it allows me to view it OK in a new window. Very confusing.

In the June LCA preview, I especially like the look of the Freeman 12 proof, and the 1868 proof. I can only afford to go for one, so will probably be one of those two.

Anybody else got their eye on any of the pieces?

Nah, I'll let Mike have whichever one he wants, and that's nothing to do with me not being able to afford either.

I can barely afford one at the moment, Jon. But I'll do me best.

Penny 1860 Beaded Border Trial Obverse, Gouby dies A1+b, R and I of BRITT do not touch at the bases, we note there was no example in the Laurie Bamford, Alderley or James Workman collections, VG/approaching Fine and extremely rare :wub::ph34r:

No, it was one of those times the quote box wouldn't disappear but I managed a successful edit. You must have been quick. :P
