Help needed to indentify an old (English?) coin

Recommended Posts

Hello fellow forum users, I have recently found an old coin I need help dating. It has a coat of arms on one side and markings on the back. There's no numbers I can make out on it. If someone can let me know how to upload photos I will do so straight away. Thanks a lot

Alex

Hello Alex.

Click on 'More Reply Options' then simply follow the instructions to upload the images from your desktop. The total KB for your upload cannot exceed 500.

Hope this helps.

Hi Michael thanks for the quick reply. I'm on my phone at the moment at work, I've followed your instructions but the file is too big to upload. I'm going to have to find a way to reduce the size of the photo taken on my phone. If that fails il have to wait until I'm home to use the computer and have a go that way.

Go to the Beginners Forum, and there's a pinned topic about how to reduce picture size to upload it here. You're lucky - when it was written, the file size limit was 150k.

Welcome Alex !

Yes will be interesting to see a pic.

No numbers, date, or monarch ?

Big guess but may not be a coin...
