could i have a lead trial of victoria jubilee

hi all

I have a lead piece possible a test on trial

its lead had a hard life and looks like this link

No. They probably used the same die to strike white metal commemorative medals and yours is what's left of one!

Can't see it too well, but I'm assuming it's the one with the small crown perched like a tea cosy. If so, it was issued at 75 mm in pewter, white metal and lead. Both lead and WM turn up from time to time as uniface pieces, and once in a blue moon as inlays in furniture, tea caddies etc.

I've seen the remains of the lead piece set into a garden bench in St Helier many moons ago.

hi guys it here it is pewter and not lead and it has a strainge pattern in the fields any thoughts this is a closup of here eye and mouth
