2 & Half Cents (Netherlands)

Recommended Posts

Anyone collect Dutch coinage?

I bought a big lot of British coins the other day and tucked away under some paper was this..

It's got lustre outlining the edge and apart from the '2 1/2 cent' on the reverse it has pretty sharp details. I didn't really have time to get a proper picture so this one isn't great but it'll do.

Dated 1881, if anyone knows value or collects these just give me a shout, I have no use for it...

nice coin, mintage was 4,000,000 and is a common date for this type, sadly you can't retire on the proceeds of this one

Thanks for the info David!

Not up for sale though, I meant as a freebie, I have no use for it and I'm sure there are collectors who might appreciate this more than I ever could...

Just pm me if anyone wants it!
