Books are not at the top of my priority list at the moment. Getting together the funds for my reserved 1902LT is! It shouldn't take me more than a month hopefully. If I did get a numismatic book then I would just get a Peck.

I'm the other way with the books...

Silver Coins of England; 1841

Spinks; 1985

Collectors' Coins; 1992-3

Seaby; 1993

Coincraft; 2000

English Hammered Coinage; 2000

Collectors' Coins; 2004 (Thanks for sending me that Chris! Well i had to know what i was working on didn't i?) :D

The Redbook; 2004

(English Hammered by North was the last one i bought for £90, i also splashed out on a Redbook).

But generally i only buy a new price catalogue every 7 years.

A secret contact who specialises in halfpennies! ;) No, it's Saltford coins, but they do specialise in halfpennies.:D He told me that it the best one he has seen.

thanks for the link.

I meet the guy (ashamed to say I don't know his name) every couple of months at a local fair.

He usually has some good stuff and we always have a chat about collecting.

Welcome Martyn, looks like it'll be a good website if the first page is anything to go by.

Do you have the 3 Wreath Crowns still?

Maybe we can cross link, or perhaps you can become an accessory affiliate, like onlinecoins...They do ok out of that.

Yes, so far we are very pleased with it, cant wait for it to be fully operational.

Regards to the Crowns, Ill have to double check but I think so. I will reply again tomorrow and PM/Email you.

Cross Linking would be great, You'll have to explain to me fully whats involved in becoming an affiliate. Sounds good though.

Thank you

Welcome Martyn - sounds like you & Chris will get on well - hopefully good business.

I am VERY new to coin collecting, but strange thing is, I was looking at your website yesterday.

I only have a December 'Coin News' and your advert. is just above Predecimal's

Good Luck both of you.

My oldest one was CCGB 2004, but I gave it to a friend when I got CCGB2005, so this one and the Krause World Coins 1901-2005 are the only collecting books I have so far.

Not very old indeed!

I can list the following,

Roman Coins - Mattingley - 1962

Byzantine coins & their values - Sears - 1974

Coins of Scotland, Ireland & the Islands - Seaby - 1984

Coinage of the Roman World - Burnett - 1987

:D

Sadly I own non of the above! They were discovered in local library archives and I have them on more or less permanent loan ( I just keep renewing!)

Sorry, not very old, the best I can do is:

Leo Mildenberg - The Coinage of the Bar Kokhba War - 1984

I can do a little better on newest book:

David Hendin - Not Kosher - 2005 (number 65 of the first edition!)

Dave :)
