1696 coin What is it !

Can any one help. Have an old coin 1696 looks a bit like a william ||| crown but am unsure.

On one side it has

REX 16 96 MAG BR FRA ET HIB

On the other side it has

GVLIELMVS 111DEI GRA.

If it is a William 111 Crown very approx does it have a value.

How big is it in terms of mm? It probably will have a value, anything from £25 upwards if it's a Crown. You can email me a picture if you have one: cp@predecimal.com.

Until we know the diameter i'm more than likely thinking it's an half crown.

Yeah, more common, but I did get a William III Crown from someone the other day.
