Sincerely doubt it, but if one ever comes up (such as the one that mark rasmussen sold) then i will probably try my very best to buy it...(not to be a bit greedy, but I now want ALL pennies from 1902 - 1970 proof including 1933, 1937 Edward, 1952 and 1954...it might be a little tricky though )

hmm...i think that i still will buy, it would just be a treat for my collection

...But if not then i will probably save up a bit so as i can get an Unc 1926 ME penny...

Wybrit's site is excellent, he has a wide range and I've been browsing it for months now although he hasn't had the stuff I want! Online coins has quite a few good ones too.

I can vouch for Wybrit, also. I have had several very pleasant transactions with him over the last couple years, and I have found his site very helpful and useful to me. I have it bookmarked, along with this one, and check by regularly. Right now, my budget has severely limited my purchases recently, but I hope to pick up a few new items here in the next few weeks. I will be looking at all 3 sites listed in this thread (Chris, Wybrit and Colin Cooke), and deciding which holes to fill first.

I know one coin dealer i've dealt with for many many years his prices are reasonable and he specialises in high grade coins of the late milled period. It's very rare he sells much below EF. (Only the rarer stuff) and even that is usually BU.

A tip:

1) is there much point in having '1955 (noted 2000) "500x BU", or '1955 (noted 1999) "Buy / The Bag" Colin Cooke offered 2500 1955's "little beauties"...it doesn't really need to be there!

There are too many spaces within the mintage of the 1945 farthing

Today's spotted mistakes:

• Under the picture of the 1954 Farthing it says; 'Elizabeth II1954 Farthing'...there should be a space between II and 1954
  
• 1871 Halpenny mintage is '1,075,280?'...is the '?' meant to be there?
  
• 1911 Halfpenny says 'Obv. 1a' and then 'Obverse 1b'...shouldn't it stay as either Obv. or Obverse for both coin types?
  
• The halfpenny reference is 'FREE'...shouldn't it be Fman?
  
• 1861 FMAN No. 33 Penny says '6 0ver 8'...it should be O, not zero
  
• 1843 Three halfpence says; '43over34'..there should be spaces between 3-o and r-3
  

...Also, can you post a download for pages 25 - 30 yet?

Erm i think Chris has them listed in the order the metals make their appearance.

I haven't got a clue why you've arranged them like you have JMD... Why have them like that, if you wanted to change them why not put them in alphabetical order, or even reverse alphabetical order if you want to get adventurous...

But if Chris reverse the format next year then the silver would be first and the bronze last.

Well then yours makes even less sense cos nowhere is cupro-nickel anywhere near as important as silver (or not as the case may be, cos i'm not sure which way round you've put them). I'd say copper was better than bronze, and copper/silver better than bronze, cupro-nickel and nickel-brass put together. I'm a purist, i like my metals pure, the purer the better.

It's all very subjective that way though cos i would list them like this; most important to least (interpret expensive to cheapest, in general terms, high grade nickel-brass coins tend to cost slightly more than cupro-nickel ones, only cos some of those threepences are scarce though)...

Silver, Copper, Bronze, Nickel-Brass & Cupro-nickel.
