what's my coin?

many years ago I found a coin in in London. It is approx 35mm diam and 1mm thick. On it is inscribed Royal Carriage Department 809 and a small arrow symbol.on the back is another small arrow symbol. I think it's made of copper.

It may be some kind of token or a tag for an old acrraige rather than a coin, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?

It's probably the token the Queen has to insert each time she uses the Royal Carriage, to make it go. :lol:
