I've handled 4 1934 Crowns, have a couple of mis struck coins that I believe to be very rare, and I have a Cupro Nickel 1868 Halfpenny (courtesy of one of the forum members).

Others have passed by too, but I can't remember them all.

I've had the pleasure of holding a Gothic Crown (but i wouldn't call that extremely rare).

Otherwise nope not really.

I thought you said in another thread that you did have an extremely rare coin Sylvester, no? The rarest coins I have are a threehalfpence with the date 1843/34 and a Gibraltar two quarts coin with the date 1842/1. They are both fairly rare, but I do not have an extremely rare coin though...

That's that king Stephen penny, but it's very rare not extremely rare, or Was it Ex Rare?

Can't remember but it's not as rare as a 1933 penny.

I've got an obscure rarity

An 1863 penny with the open style 3

According to the Satin reference there are only 6 known

Don't know if mine is a seventh

Wow, that is rare! Is it your most cherished coin?

Well, it's only about fine so I cherish it for its rarity, but not its looks :)

I'd say my favourite is either my 1839 proof - rare AND beautiful

Or a choice uncirculated cartwheel penny with about 50% lustre - shows Bolton's handiwork at its best

well if your's is a seventh then it ties with the 1933 penny, if there is only six and you've got the 6th one then they are rarer.

supply and demand again... :D

1933s will always be sought after because no-one likes a gap in their penny collection.

Minor varities pull the serious/advanced collectors, a whole missing year pulls anyone doing a date set.

i always sort my pennies as: 1931, 1932, 1934, 1935 ect... because i know i will more then likely get a 1933!

I thought so. If I was you, I would have said it was sarcasm to embarass me, but both works!
