Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help. My son has found a coin which does not appear to be british.

It has running around the outside on the back a laurel and at the top the date 1881 and what appears to be TOAA

Then a number 5 with again what appears to be KONBERT and under that in small letters what appears to be C.R.E

Any clues gratefully received !!

regards

Paul

Paul,

Afraid I don't know. If you register you can upload an image to be viewed in the forum. Can you also provide the size and metal details?

Don't know if anyone is still interested in this old thread, but I think the coin is a Russian 5 Kopeck.
