Hi all, picked up my A-level results today and I got:

  • Economics - A
  • Politics - A
  • Maths - A
  • General Studies - A

And a distinction in the advanced extension award for Economics. All in all a good day! So this means I'm off to Durham at the end of September to study Economics & Politics. Anyone know any good coin shops?!

Congratulations Oli! Well done. :D Sorry, I don't know of any coins shops, but I haven't been in the area for around 8 years! :P

Thanks everyone! Just got my pack of stuff through from Durham and the number of forms to fill in is quite amazing - why don't they do it over the internet? Can't wait to go, I'm really geared up for it.

Hi Art

Good to see you on the Darkside again.

I do like the early US coppers and have managed to snare a few (benefits of working at RAF Lakenheath for a while with the US 48 Squadron)

I got a 1875 IHC in VF for £1.50 which had been sold to a local Antiques centre. :D

Peter,

You bought a $50.00 coin for $3.00. Great find!
