1902 Proof Silver Half Crown Coin Edward VII | eBay

One of the worst fakes I have seen

I think it is a "fantasy" coin. The legends are completely different to the real thing and so the maker never intended it to be a fake. But anything can happen if someone can see "1902" when "1905" is shown.

Does not even have the right date it says 1905 on the obverse - takes a lot to get the date wrong on a coin

It doesn't if it's clearly a fantasy coin, not intended to replicate the real thing.

There is a penny on Ebay claiming to be a 1922 F192A

Somebody else now trying to jump on that bandwagon, though suspect this one is just total ignorance rather than fraud.

Very obtuse - he mentions the "1927 obverse" not reverse!

I messaged him to say that it was not the 1927 reverse and to mention the confusion of obverse and obtuse - he then changed the description to the "rare 1927 obverse". I then messaged him to say that it was not the 1927 obverse (M.E.) but he has not replied. Fortunately, no-one has been daft enough to bid on it.

I have messaged him several times telling him that this coin is not unique or rare but he ignores me and persists to fraudulently advertise it on Ebay.

Maybe a few more messages from other collectors might convince him ?
