And I hope nobody is fooled by this one. The description is taken directly from an LCA lot earlier this year (that coin is in my collection).

Unless there is a real problem with your transaction, which the Seller will not respond to and work out with you (for a satisfactory outcome), please, leave Positive Feedback.Thank you!!

A portent of future problems is clearly highlighted in the description? I suspect the opening bracket should be moved to the front of the word after the first comma.

FFS, there are some idiots on EBay, and we see this sort of thing time and time again!

How do they ever work out how to switch their computers on?

Jerry

This is such a blatant example of deception. I've reported it, not that doing that seems to have any effect.

Absolutely, if ever there was an example of trying to cover the eventualities of planned deception this is one.

What do you think about  these crowns this seller has up for auction? The CTO in Victoria seem to be joined and the I in them seems to be doubled.

Here's this chancer again trying his luck again with an 1839 "silver" crown found in Grandads house. Nearly all his listings over £20 look fake to me. He has already pocketed £210 with a replica 1845 crown. I,ve reported him again.

Fake fake fake. as for the 1971 penny guy. I requested he do the human race a favour and terminate his auction before the police come banging on his door for attempting to solicit Funds through deception. What ever that means I aint got a clue heard it in a film sounded good so went with it lmao :lol::ph34r:

Reported. Seller looks Romanian possibly so there could be a language difficulty if emailed.

Reported. Fat chance of it getting pulled though now, eBay is already tallying up the profit and rubbing their hands.

I find it had to believe people pay that much for obvious repros.

At least the chinese do theirs in a really convincing style! (gits).

Sadly this is all too common nowadays. Get a good reputation selling geniune stuff then move on to selling repros and Claires accessories trinkets passing them off as detecting finds.

I can't see how he can list it as VF...  and what are all those wavy marks on it?  I have one that is fne...maybe better - but it has a load of coin art on it...  none of it any good, lol. I have it on my stall for about £7.00.....  maybe I'll e-bay it, lol.
