I sell a bit on Ebay and I was glad when options arose to list things at no cost, unless they sold. I had not foreseen (and maybe Ebay hadn't either) that it would lead to thousands of hopeless listings from jokers like those reported here. I would be sad to see the return of listing fees but maybe it is the only way to curb such ridiculous offerings.

Quite right Paddy, free listings means that there's no downside for a seller listing worthless crap. 

However, on the flip side I reckon that many of our rarest finds would have remained unlisted if they charged fees. ;)

Yes, the Anne sixpence is a well known replica. I think the rest are OK.
