Someone doesn't understand "on truncation"

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CGS-slabbed-silver-sixpence-1887-withdrawn-type-ef60-with-J-E-B-on-truncation/112791142918?hash=item1a42e04206:g:-8wAAOSwVLRaWL9k

Even I have better than this unslabbed.

The thing is I don't even think the vendor is trying to be untruthful, I just think he is being stupid, a bit like the person who slabbed the coin in the first place.

That means go down a grade- perhaps by being held in fingers.....!

One for you guys ‘down under’, I’m sure you’ll be rushing to get your bids in!

I did wonder if the seller had intended an ‘n’ at the end of the first part of his user name🤔.

It's a new grade, surely? similar to some crowns I recently viewed, where I think the seller thought VF meant Very Flat!

Bizarre indeed. Makes you wonder what he's been getting up to in those bushes he's so fond of photographing. 😨

What do you guys make of this 1875 QV Halfcrown which was in a joblot of coins. Weights and measures are ok but it seems a really weak strike on the 5.
