I have no idea! It was on ebay as an Edward I penny!!! :o

I think it is lead and might be a Mereaux or eclesiastical token or 'Communion Token' and could be anywhere from the twelfth to the sixteenth centuries! Any info would be welcome but at the moment it languishes with the coin I use as my avatar, in the "don't know" tray :D
