I need a George iii sovereign, maybe prices will not be too crazy. Apart from that, some nice 1862 halfpennies with die letters worth a bid.

Oh- there was going to be lots of pennies- great pennies, none made in China CHINAH,

I'm very knowledgeable about pennies, I'm a great collector,  all pennies, but I looked at the Auction list and there are strangely hardly any...

I DEMAND A RECOUNT!

Nothing for me here (probably no bad thing as I blew 50% of my annual budget at DNW last week!).

IMO, very poor offering and very, very little of interest...

It has been quite a while since LCA has offered anything that is 1) of interest to me, and, 2) that I would be willing to trust LCA on.

Sorry to say pretty much all the auctions at the moment, are very disappointing - unless you're a gold collector.

I think that, apart from DNW or Baldwins, the quality of their photography is their own worst enemy. I wouldn't buy based on the pictures from Spink or LCA.

The pics on LCA are deceptive. They flatter the coin and hide hairline scratches and other defects which are often not mentioned in the description.
