Craigy - is this yours? I also am a bit taken aback by the "newness" appearance.

from urban dictionary

Alternative term for a supporter of Manchester United football club who has never set foot in Trafford, the club's home town, let alone been to any games.
Their prevalence seems to be directly proportional to the success of the club.
Also known as 'Manc-Wan*s', 'Tossers', 'Glory-Hunters', 'Woollies', 'Scum' and 'Cunts'.
Usually found lurking in bars, public houses south of Birmingham.

A typical conversation that takes place between other teams supporters and a "Plastic Manc".
"I see Man U played well this weekend"
"What score did we win"
"You won 2-1"
"who were we playing?"
"It was the Manchester derby"
"Ha ha we beat city...GETIN THERE"

I find it hilarious that the 'k' in 'Manc-Wan*s' is replaced by an asterisk however the word at the end of the sentence is totally devoid of censure.

I always thought that the latter was higher regarding its order of precedence on the Offence table.
