I've just noticed my Chester Mint shilling does not appear to have any ties?

Being 1696 it's first bust - sometimes the ties did not strike up, maybe a facet of this Chester die.

First bust has the hair circles, third has hair strands. 2nd needs no explanation.

For what it's worth, mine only has the tie ends visible.
