A 9mm across half penny.

How on earth were these used as currency.

It was a real pain to find in the mud!

I can really understand how someone would have lost this.

And so you have found a nice example that saw little circulation, but a lot of time up to the eyeballs in sh*t :)

Farthings at the end were worse ;)

It was a real pig to find 😉and yes it was one of them lovely wet winter detecting days.
