I don't think they will, I know the chap who is selling it and he is a very private individual. I am virtually certain it is the Mark Rasmussen one because you will also see the 1808 penny is for sale in that collection also in September.

Rasmussen list 3, 2003; Private UK Collection, March 1985; Ruddy and Bowers, August 1978 - I like me a provenance when I am let loose on them!

Ta David! :) Can keep a beady eye on collective contentedness now. All of their concerns are fortunately ones of which I was already well aware. Finding solutions is the next step.

Don't worry, these guys here will keep you busy for a while, they did the same with Neil Paisley 😂

£111,000 Hammer. Most impressive!

Amazing, and something like £133k with juice added.

I should be surprised, but somehow, I'm not.

I wish I'd gone for the 1922 reverse of 1927. Obviously with more in the game it would have gone for more than it did, but it would still have been a bargain. Never dreamt it would go for such a low price.

If it was £1100 I think I would have bidded, it was £110,000 with commission £133,000

I'd have had to think several times before paying even that, though it's definitely a variety I'd want.

Same here. I could barely afford it anyway after spending £1400 on the F8 from LCA recently. Plus I've got other buying commitments coming up, so it would have been very tight. But it certainly would be good to have one.

Oh yeah- dressed as a unicorn?

I couldn't stay for the hammer to come down - I had Lord Lucan popping round to tell me how much he got for Shergar....
