Henry VIII Groat Authenticity

Recommended Posts

Hello, new forum member here, I received this coin as a birthday present last year but my knowledge of these coins is limited, any opinions on its authenticity would be much appreciated.

Any chance you can accurately weigh it? As far as the pics go it looks OK to me, though I don’t consider myself expert on these.

Looks okay. Doesn't look cast anyway and has no marks you'd expect to see on a replica. I make it Spink 2316 Portcullis Mintmark (108)
