while the first silver proof peter rabbit was going for around a £1000 and had now settled down to around £500 the rest of the gang have not fared so well

I can't abide those coins with colours on. The whole point of it being a silver proof is that it has a fabulous finish and is clearly silver.

I think too many people with "modern" ideas are being let loose in places where they really shouldn't be.

Couldn't agree more. There was one on here recently which looked like copper or bronze. Just looks odd.
