Typical poor reporting from the mail hacks - the edward Viii penny is NOT copper the last penny in copper apart from a couple of patterns or proofs was 1860.

They repeatedly make basic mistakes like this even  a schoolboy coul;d do a better job

You won't even have the right to look at the coin in person. Hence, it is even worse than buying a souvenir plot of land ...

I wonder if they recieve a letter from the coin twice a year like you do when you adopt a cat/dog at one of these adoption charities ?

To be honest if you had bought any of those lots in the fifties or sixties you probably had a few ok coins that would have showed you a profit say twenty years later .

Did you get a bargain at the time? No but there again new collectors have to start somewhere .....

The monkeys were not monkeys but shrimps and the xray spex did not work (to much upset from many teenage boys trying to look through skirts with them)
